Bill_Hayes: It’s about Days, but it’s more than that. We didn’t want it just to be a “fan” book, per se. We wanted it to be for everybody whether you watch the show or not. We wanted it to have some depth and meaning. We have experienced a life of love and we wanted to put that in there.
Susan_Hayes: And our biographies before, during and after Days.
Bill_Hayes: It’s autobiographical; it’s a memoir. There’s a philosophy that goes along with it.
Susan_Hayes: And it made us even closer. I thought I knew him; I thought I loved him. But I just love him more.
Bill_Hayes: The experience brought us closer together. We didn’t write as one voice for the two of us, we just wrote our own thoughts.
Susan_Hayes: And the best thing I can say about it is that Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner liked it, too! Thank you Ken; thank you cast of Days of our Lives. Thank you mom and dad that made Bill. And the moms and dads that made all of you. I think there are some moms and dads that will enjoy this book.
