FARAH FATH
(Mimi Lockhart)

Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Farah dreamed of being in show business. "I have loved being in the spotlight ever since I can remember," she says. Farah began modeling at the age of five and traveled to Los Angeles to participate in an International Model and Talent Convention. Farah competed in several pageants, in which she was frequently a National Speech Winner. She was crowned "Miss Kentucky Pre-Teen" in 1995.

In high school, Farah juggled academics and cheerleading and still found time for modeling assignments, commercials and pageant competitions. She performed in her high school's production of Life with Mother Superior and appeared in numerous print campaigns for Duncan Hines and in a national commercial for Pringles® Potato Chips.

In July 1999 Farah's agent told her she had an audition for Days of our Lives. On her very first Hollywood try, Farah landed the recurring role of "Mimi." She fondly reminisces about her first day on the set: "I saw Kristian Alfonso and Deidre Hall and I was in total awe because I had grown up watching them. I started watching when Marlena was possessed and was instantly hooked."

Farah expected to remain in Salem for only a few weeks and then to return to Kentucky; she decided to remain on the West Coast instead. "I was really excited to stay in Los Angeles but I missed my family and friends," recalls the young actress. "My mom had to commute back and forth for the first few months but it was well worth it; I now have a contract role on my favorite daytime drama. I still can't believe it; I am living my dream."

Farah currently lives in Los Angeles with her dog Jack. She enjoys decorating her house and is a huge fan of the hit sit-com Friends.
