CHRISTIE CLARK
(Carrie Brady)
When an actor makes a comeback on a daytime drama, the character usually has been resurrected from the dead, kidnapped and held hostage, or is returning as an evil twin. For Christie Clark, none of the above is true; she just wanted to come "home."
Christie grew up in Orange County, Calif., the eldest of three children. After performing in an elementary school talent show at the age of nine, Christie decided that not only was performing her niche in life, but she didn't want to wait to explore the possibilities. Through a friend of her mother's, Christie quickly landed an agent and was ready to embark on an acting career. Christie's first television appearance was in Mattel toy commercial, and was soon followed by a She-Ra: Princess of Power commercial.
Her other television credits include Hull High, Ask Max, General Hospital, Life Goes On, Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Revenge, and the made-for-televison movie Danielle Steel's Changes. Christie also appeared in the motion pictures A Nightmare on Elm Street - Part II and Children of the Corn - Part II.
Acting isn't Christie's only passion; having a full life has always been very important to her, whether it is snowboarding, dancing or cooking. "The more you do, "she says, " the more you are capable of doing."
Christie splits her time between Los Angeles and San Francisco, where she resides with her husband.
